Space being added in TV so page breaking

I’ve got this in the head:
<body id="[*body_cols*]" class="[*body_class*]">

I "created" the TVs with Editor:None. When I apply the TVs to a page, it displays broken in Preview, and View Source reveals this:
<body id=" threeCol" class="volunteer">

Can someone tell me where this space between id=" and threeCol is coming from?

Meanwhile I’ve just created two templates (not a huge site) but really curious to know...

I imagine you’ve tried editing the TV, pressing the home key, and deleting the first few characters, then re-entering them.

Have you looked at that entry in the DB?

Well, looks like it’s just me being careless, actually. I looked in the db, and realized that I’d included a space before and after the pipes when I created the TV (my print background coming through) so this must have been where the spaces were coming from - it was just doing as told. Meanwhile I made two templates, but now I know.
