    Hi All,

    I’m looking to use the ’ticker widget’ style of TV and was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the fade effect (or perhaps change it all together)?
    I’d like to at least slow the fade down a bit (not the time between fades, the fade itself). Would be great if you could change the effect to a slide rather than fade as well.

    I’ve done some digging around but haven’t found the answer so any help would be great. I do see this around line 195 of moostick.js:

    /*
            Property: fxOptions
            	Passthru variable. See: <Moostick.fxOptions>.
            */
            fxOptions    : {},

    But I’m not sure if there’s where you can change the effect and how to do it (or if there’s an easier way through modx).

    If you have any ideas please let me know, Thanks!

      In Revolution, yes; you can provide your own custom TV output type.

      In Evolution, I believe you’d be better off just providing your own implementation with a Snippet or Plugin.

        I gotcha OpenGeek. So is there no way to adjust the fade effect for moostick? Seems like there definitely should be but I can’t locate it. I did notice that this does something (around line 396 of moostick.js):

        fxOptions    : {duration: 1200},

        But it appears to only effect the "fade in" and not the "fade out". I’m sure it’s just a syntax thing with mootools but I can’t seem to locate how to fully control it..
