I would have thought this would work fine as i was able to inherit a number from a parent document to a child document. When i tried the same thing using a date value I can’t seem to make it work.
I’m testing dates for an expiration and need those to default to a specific date set at the parent level. When i view the child document i noticed that the tv field is blank as opposed to seeing "@INHERIT" as it does for a number or text box.
Any suggestions or reasons as to why this would be the case? Are dates not inheritable? Have I missed something?
any help would be appreciated.
