kOLDSQ I am not sure what you mean.

you would be able to change header background as required by modifying the relevant CSS height & fixed div width to match your image size.

Damn :/ isn’t it possibel to get my WHOLE template in? sad

Sorry, for all this mess huh

Looks to me like Allan has set up your whole layout/template for you. All you have to do now is put in the content and necessary tags and it’s easy to change anything using CSS and MODx tags.

kOLDSQ I actualy took the 3 column fixed width template I showed you earlier
          http://ctsoe.org/modxdemo
and put your bachground image in CSS and cleared out text.

If you are happy with this I will post the code here for all.

You can put all that in once you start adding your content. I’m sure if you take the time to look at the code Allan put together for you and then read some tutorials, you’ll be able to get all of it done. It’s important to try and understand how it all works first and then ask specific questions where you get stuck. It’s the best way to learn smiley

              Yes.

But i am really confused! - and i mean REALLY confused.

              - U said that i had to seperate my parts the template, but how do i use my own parts such as, my content box and my own coloms, and so on.

                Sorry kOLDSQ

I have been busy all day with building work at my house.

When I post the final code then you can take a look and see what has been done.

The code should be self explanitory although it is not commented much.

If you have any problems you can then ask questions after you first try yourself.

At least I will be working with code I understand (a bit) I have only been at this about a month.

I will try to do some work tonight but am a bit tired so maybe will only be finished by midday.

                      Place above file in assets/templates/threecolumn_px/css/

Copy your file header.jpg To assets/templates/threecolumn_px/css/
I know this may not seem right but is easy to reference in CSS. (change it if you like but saves time on loading.)

Whatever content you place on page using this template will appear in center column.
