"Custom" template for MODx

I’m really confused - i dont know what i did wrong!

Your Template does not appear to be using the style sheet if it will not work with inline code removed.

Maybe you should try just to use the inline style and once that is working moving the code to the other folder.

What is the size or your image you are trying to put into the header?

Have you split your origional image yet?

Nope, i just want to get the template to work first.

I am not so good at english, so what is "inline"

I see several problems, as allanb noted. First, you have referenced an external stylesheet and then have a set of inline styles in the <style> tags, and then a bunch of more inline styles throughout your template. This might be part of what’s causing your problems. Read this to understand the difference between inline and external stylesheets - http://www.w3schools.com/CSS/css_howto.asp

Second, your image (tops) is the whole template layout. That’s going to give you a lot of problems. You need to split that up as advised earlier

I really recommend you first take some time and learn how to split up your image andconvert it into a HTML/CSS layout before porting it into MODx. The way you’re doing it now is somewhat confusing and will probably lead to more problems down the road.

I tried to load your site to take another look but it keeps timing out.

You still have a lot of inline styles in your divs. Why not give the divs classes and then put all your styles in the stylesheet?

Again, I think your primary problem is going to be that you’re making your whole layout an image.

Your stylesheet.css file has an error. After body you have two opening curly braces. Remove one.

woops, i forgot something, how do i get my background in "fit" so it automaticly fits any browser.
