    Hi all,

I am quite new to modx and i already like it very much, i have a question about the best way to create my site:

I made a website design which i exported to 5 different HTML pages. Besides the content section the only thing that changes on the pages is the button view. On every HTML page the button changes to the active one, on which page you are at that moment. As a example: in the homepage the Home button is changed (darker and highlighted) and if i am in the About page, the about button is changed.

What is the best way to create this website in modx? I though of making 5 different templates for each page with the changed button.

Can somebody give me advice on how to fix it the best way?

    Greets,
    Pulga

No need for different templates, just create each page then use wayfinder to generate the menu ( [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0`]] )

This will automatically put a class of active on the li of the active page IE: <li class="active">, you can then style the li.active via the css
