I have "converted" 3 column holy grail template from Matthew James Taylor

Had a problem as I locked myself out of my site so took longer than expected.

    [MODIFIED url]
Could some of you take a look at http://ctsoe.org/modxdemo/ and see if anyone would be interested in me posting this as a usable template

    [MODIFIED]
I have converted this to revo http://www.ctsoe.org/modxrevo/ as well

I have not used Wayfinder Menu yet

Menu now Wayfinder on Evo only

Can be now downloaded here:- http://modxcms.com/extras/package/641

Will work on other two tenplates.

Looks quite useful for sites with an huge amount of hits and a wide audience.
I particularly like how you did the menu. Great job.

That’s a very impressive template. It would be a great addition. smiley

It’s amazing that it does everything without JS or conditional comments. The site in my sig is essentially the same layout, but it’s much dirtier behind the scenes.

The only thing I question is what happens in IE6 (or early versions of IE7) when you shrink the window size horizontally. I suspect that you’d get some content dropped to the bottom of the screen, and an unusable menu if your menu is fairly wide.

Hi Bob see you are back

I tried it in IE6 OK up to about 600 width long words in center column get lost & images also, menu works elements move down.
In all but IE6 min width = 600

other browsers create lower navbar at 600px

          Question
          Working on evo 1.0.2
I moved my site by renaming my sub-directory with the intention of using existing folder for other things this caused the images not to display under IE6 but worked in FF found problem site_url had not changed.
Could not find in configeration but did find files base url and changed that now reflects correct site_url.

I cannot claim any credit for any of the work except conversion which was with help of yourself, stottwell & mary at the coding pad with your tutorials and explination. All great work!!!

Before I post it should I remove all the text?
