    Hi there

I’m really new to MODx and started development for my upcoming portfolio with MODx.
After some basic tutorials I stuck with the navigation menu. There is an easy to do way for that with the wayfinder.

    [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`1`]]

My problem is, that I created a template with an advanced navigation and I don’t want to use just a list.
So is there a chance to change the template that the Wayfinder builds?

There are several ways to do this. For (almost) all things Wayfinder: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,34176.msg207851.html#msg207851

Oh, thanks. It think I have to work with the startTPL and this kind of parameters.

hmm. During reading I saw something about DropMenu. Would this be a better solution or is it an older way of creating a navigation?

DropMenu has been dead for years.

Ok. That worked without problems. Now I set up my page for multi language (with the official wiki guide) and got some problems.

I can’t figure it out how I just show a menu for the second level documents. For testing: When I set the level to 0 it only shows the first level (de, en and the start page), but It should show all ressources that are set to ’show in menu’. But it doesn’t.

I have no idea where the problem is.
