Revolution is in beta but you can basically use any html template with MODx (Revolution and Evolution) with minimal effort.

For example download template you like: http://www.opensourcetemplates.org and add tags like pagetitle and content to the template and you are done.

Hav alook at ADDON30 in JIRA, http://svn.modxcms.com/jira/browse/ADDON-30, there are a few evo templates I converted and packaged here.
Use MODx, or the cat gets it!

I’ve converted a few of mine for testing, but am waiting for details on how to package them so you can use the package manager instead of manually installing them. I suspect some others might be doing the same.

Does your Template include TVs? Content-types? Any other related objects?

I just use chunks at this point in time (other than template, images, and css as one would expect).

Ok. We’ll look into creating a Template Packager 3pc or something of the sort.

Th zip file in ADDON-30 contains packaged templates if I remember correctly, you just have to build them into transport packages, you could look at the scripts in the _build directory, some are just plain, some come with chunks etc.
