Want to transfer TV ( tempalte variables )

Hi, i want to transfer TV from my siteA to siteB.
Because i don’t want to creat the same TV in two site .
I have too many tv in siteA. so i have no time to create the same TV in siteB.
How do i copy or transfer tv from siteA to siteB.
I also backup database table and import it. not effect.

I’m afraid it’s not that simple. The TVs have to be tied to a template (or templates).

Clear the Site Cache first.

You should be able to edit each TV in the Manager and assign it to one or more templates. If not, you’d have to edit the site_templvar_templates table to hook them up. You definitely *don’t* want to import that table because the ids won’t match.

Then, you’ll have to edit every document that uses a TV to set the value of the TV for that document (unless they’re all set to @INHERIT).

Then, clear the site cache and you should be ok (unless I’ve forgotten something).
