    Hello everyone.

This is my first time using modx and I have to say, after using Joomla! and WordPress, it has been a blessing so far. It feels more in tune with how a CMS should be.

That being said, I’m having a little difficulty implementing/understanding setting up a ’document’ for multiple editable areas. My situation is, my client has a 2-column layout, one div which has the normal content ([*content*]) and a sidebar which has even more content.

My problem is: Obviously, I can’t just stick in two [*content*]’s and my client most likely isn’t comfortable enough to modify chunks, so is there no way to have the sidebar content easily editable?

Maybe I’m misunderstanding a process involved, so if anyone can help out that’d be great.

    Thank you,
    -Nick

Just create a new TV called sideContent, select Input Type: Rich Text and select your template in Template Access.

Don’t forget to put [*sideContent*] in your template

      Good Luck!
