I want someone to be able to upload images with a template variable into a page, but I do want them to be restricted to whatever number of TVs I create. Any suggestions?
I do not know one but it might be possible to build it.
First you need to define the maximum number of images you allow for upload. With this number in mind you have to create the same number of TVs Eg: image-1, image-2
When the page loads for editing you will hide all the TVs except the first one. Use ManagerManager plugin as inspiration.
Under the First Image insert a button "Add Image". On click the second TV will be displayed and the button will move under the new TV. And so on.
I hope you got the idea.
For building this you will need to know javascript, html, php, modx APIs and modx events.
I too am interested in something like this. I thought of it long time ago but did not have the knowledge.
