Hi!
I am thinking about splitting up my template into a public and private area template. But am curious about the browser performance and how the shared css and image files are handled.
Example:
public area template
/base/base.css
/public/public.css
private area template
/base/base.css
/private/private.css
The both share a basis css file. What happens if a user browses from my public pages to my private pages? Will the browser RE-download the basic css and layout images or does it use the ones already in the browser cache?
Strange question?
