I want to create a template variable for a video. I changed which file extensions I allow in my configurations panel, so I allow the .mov that I am trying to upload. The upload starts and then freezes at 50%. I can upload videos through my ftp client but I do not want to do that, because I have to use a relative url to use the TV. Can anyone offer any assistance?

Could you be out of memory or bumping up against the max upload limit? Videos get pretty big.

Did you verify in PhpInfo() that upload_max_filesize and memory_limit are adequate?

Memory Limit is 16M and upload max filesize is 2M. I guess I need someone with root access to change that? I am uploading videos that are on the average of about 20 megs.

You might need an admin to fix it (assuming that you tried setting them in php.ini). If your host is running suPHP or the like, you might just need a line in your .htaccess file telling where the php.ini file is.

              suPHP_ConfigPath /usr/local/etc/modx/php.ini
