    Hi All,

I’ve knocked up a simple design for a photography / portfolio website and thought I might put it up as a template, you can see it here.

I just have a few questions...

    1. Do you want it?
    2. If so, do you think the design could use any changes?
    3. What if any license? I was thinking CC Attribution?

Basically, I’ve created item pages each with an image tv for the main image and thumbnail, Ditto then calls the thumbnail to assemble the thumbnail navigation. I considered using maxiGallery (to save the user needing to create thumbnails) but decided against it because I wanted room for a large description below the image and didn’t know how to do this with maxiGallery and also because I thought photographers would rather create and compress their own thumbnails rather than trust a script.

Anyway let me know what you think...

    Cheers

      Hey,

I would love to get a copy of that template. I can’t think of any changes to make at the moment. I don’t have any suggestions on the license, but you don’t always need to have one unless you wanted.

Thanks for sharing I hope to see it in the repository in the near future!

Cheers, I’ll definitely get it into the repository when it’s finalised, there’s still a couple things that need work and then I suppose I’ll have to build in the styles for all occasions (block quotes, definition lists and the like).

I’ve got a bit of work coming up, so it might not be straight away, but hopefully by next week it should be ready to go smiley

I checked out your site, you’re a bit of a template addict there!!! Good show though, I never thought of porting other opensource/cc templates to MODx, I guess as a designer I prefer making my own anyway wink

        Thanks again
