    Hi there,

although I’m a bit of a noobie regarding webdesign, I’ve managed quite well until now. It appears I’m not able to change the colors of links on my website (used the MODx Host template). I just can’t find the right code to edit. I’ve searched for mouseover etc., changed every color (even the ones I didn’t actually wanted to change), searched for binary color codes and changed them.

    What to do now?

    Best regards,

    Michiel

      Hi Michiel,

      First, welcome to modx.

With respect to your question, without showing us some code (your CSS, XHTML, etc) and/or pointing us to your website (if it is not local) it really is quite difficult to pinpoint where the problem is. It could be a CSS issue, it could also be that you need to clear your browser cache to see the changes you’ve made, etc.

      cheers/k

        Hi kongondo,

thanks for the quick response! It appeared I overlooked the possibility of RGB color coding, so after figuring out the code I was able to correct it.

        Thanks again,

        Best regards,

        Michiel

        Edit:

For those who’d like to know: I used the ColorZilla plugin
