2-3 summarized blogs and the rest appear as links

Maybe I’m missing something really obvious here.. because I think this was possible in an earlier version of ModX but I can’t execute it in 0.9.6.3 for the life of me.

I want a blog where the first 2 or 3 entries appear with a title, a summary of the content and maybe a thumbnail image if one exists.. and then another 5-10 entries which appear as just title links to the full blog entry.

I understand there is a tplFirst parameter which would allow this, but only with one summarized item. Is it possible to get the same effect with more than 1 entry?

Anything is possible! You can use two Ditto calls in the same document - one for the first three items only, with a template displaying the full content, then one starting from the third document and using a different template.
Relevant parameters: &display=`3` for the first call, limiting the output; and &start=`3` for the ones that are just links, skipping the first three items.

ah got it. I thought about using 2 ditto calls but never could figure out how to start the second call from a specific point. &start=`3` would do it
