    Hi

I’m new to MODx and I have MODx 0.9.2 installed.
I have been trying to add an Image TV to a template but i’m not getting what I guess I have to see.
    According to:

    http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Template_Variable_Holds_an_Image

I should have something like a image browser but I don’t see nothing changing on the Administrator when I choose "Image" as TV type...
That’s the most exciting I see:

I’m doing something wrong or my installation it faulty or something?????

    Thanks in advance

    Vlax

The file browser appears when you press insert button in DOCUMENT.
if you need to set a default value, you should type image url.
        God loves me. 【ツ】

It’s also really worth upgrading to 0.9.6.3. There are some nice improvements in the usability.

Not with the image TVs, but there are other improvements to the whole system that you will find useful as you develop your site.

So you gave temp[late access for that TV? When creating/editing a doc that uses that template, do you get that button?
Can u send a print screen of your TV?

Well in fact after reading a post on another topic, i stumbled with a kind of solution for this.
Instead of using just [*myImageTV*], use [#*myImageTV*], that will show a button aside the TV, it seems to be new to version 0.9.6.3, at least it wasn’t on the example template that came with version 0.9.6.2.
I think I will update the wiki page regarding this, as it’s right now it’s pretty confusing.

                Regards

                  [#*myImageTV*]
I think that should be [*#myImageTV*]

Off course should be like above speaker shows.
As for template access did you check that? See picture.

                    best fr.

Just to keep things clear: by adding the # to the placeholder you are telling QuickEdit to render an ’edit’ button in place for that TV. Otherwise it is available to edit in the QuickEdit menu (top left corner when logged in as manager in the front-end) or in the Manager editor. This is not new, but maybe less known wink
