Hi all,
This may be an easy one for some but I’m very new to Modx and completely stuck with this one.
I’ve been unable to create any template variables for a date input.
My new template variables appear on the document edit screen but for some reason they can’t be edited. Neither by typing within the input field nor by using the date picker.
After looking a little closer at the html being generated I discovered that the input field isn’t an input field at all, but a span with the class name ’inputBox’:
<span id="tvevent%2Ddate_show" class="inputBox"> (not set)</span>
The other,standard, date imput field for ’published date’, etc, all work fine btw.
I must be missing something. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Try creating one without _ or other non-alphanumeric characters in the name of the tv.
