    I know they’re related to templates, but how do you know what goes in them and what does the stuff in the mean?

    There’s a snippet that has inner.tpl

    <strong><a href="[+LINK.HREF+]">[+TITLE+]</a></strong><br /><br />
    <ul>
    {{ENTRY->entry}}
    </ul>

    and outer.tpl

    {{FEED->inner}}

    What does this stuff mean?

      I think its related to FeedX... I used it in my project but I can’t actually remember how its structured.

      But have a look at the FeedX docs, and you will find something there. Or see if someone else chime in and shares the details.

        You’re correct, it is related to FeedX.

        Unfortunately, there are no FeedX docs. There’s a forum thread for it, but it’s more or less a mishmash of clutter without any explicit instructions explaining how to use it. sad Someone posted that there would be a wiki page for it, but I can’t find it.

          I just used FeedX for a project and the templating is a bit complicated but very flexible. I ended up just edited an existing preset and gave up understanding it. But if I recall {{ENTRY->entry}} is like the wrapper placeholder in wayfinder, but here it is looking for a tpl named entry. This way you can structure your own. This is necessary since XML files are not always structured the same and FeedX is for any XML input.

          Unless you need complex structure i would use PieX since it has a much simpler tpl method. By default they will all output unordered lists to be styled with CSS, but you can tpl them to whatever you want.
