    Hi there,
I need to put all my chunks in a folder, not in database as it used to be. so, is there any way to save chunks as external files and make them possibly work with existing snippet such as Ditto, Wayfinder ...?

Ditto & Wayfinder have "config" files, so everything could be inside them if you’re not afraid of little PHP "coding":

thank Eol very much, now all my chunks are put under Version control. this is my call to external chunk file, hope this would help others:
        [[Ditto? &summarize=`10`&tpl=`@FILE:assets/templates/main/chunks/header_link.chunk`&sortBy=`menuindex` &sortDir=`ASC`]]
