Hey everyone, I have used css before and am pretty familiar with it but I am having a couple of problems working in modx. I am taking an exisiting template which you can see at http://www.altusdesigns.com/normal and I am trying to convert it to modx (you can see my work in progress at http://www.altusdesigns.com/newsite).

Here is the link to the resource
    [link removed]

I cannot seem to get the rounded corners background on the boxes to the left to work... also my footer isnt staying centered... any suggestions?

    Thank you!

I would start by fixing the validation error on your template and see if that fixes the problem.

Since a template in MODx is just html code (plus a few MODx tags that shouldn’t affect the rendering), you can usually just paste in the original code from page into a MODx template and replace the content areas with MODx tags.

There’s not a lot of opportunity to mess things up so the most likely culprits when the output doesn’t look right are a problem with the path to your .CSS file, a problem with a path *in* your .CSS file, or missing or misplaced image files.
