Template - CSS definition issue

Hi guys,

I am trying to modify layout.css to suit my needs. That is to use "blue business" template as a template. So, please see below OUTER# variable

height:auto;
min-height:100%;
width:710px;
text-align:left;
margin:auto;
position:relative;
background-image: url(images/bg_content.gif);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
padding: 0px 20px 0px 20px;
}

I want the image to appear at once in the template. But, with the above definition it doesn’t apprear at all. But, if I change background-repeat: repeat or repeat-y, it works but repeats itself to the length of the page content in vertical. When i change it to repeat-x, then this image doesn’t appear at all. Could anyone please help and explain what is happening in here? Also, position: relative also creating a bit of problem for me. If I change it to absolute, left margin dissappears. Same effect if i change it to fixed or static. Your time is appreciated. Thanks

HI guys, I am not sure whether i have posted this question at right place or not. But, all of you are viewing the question but no response. Probably the issue is too easy but I tried many different ways but it isn’t working. I can get you a snap shot as I am still working on localhost in my computer.

Hi,

To me it is confusing. I’ve not heard of this "blue business" template. Is it a template from this forums? Is it a modx template? Front end or back-end? Any link? Could you post  snapshots of what you are trying to achieve and what is currently happening? What browsers have you tested it in?
