    Hello,

Currently, I’m developing a site in MODx for the first time, and I’m having a few problems with wayfinder.

Here’s a screenshot of what I’m trying to accomplish:
    http://clients.topfloortech.com/mpe/index.html

    There are three navigation sources:

    • The top left corner (about us, careers, contact us, and "home" on the internal pages)
    • The stripe underneath the header (Case Studies, Portfolio, Upload Files / Send documents, and Request a Call)
    • (not shown on this page) Along the left side, and will have four navigation elements, each with a bunch of nested elements.

    My wayfinder issues:

    • Wayfinder is that it seems to be having problems with the ’ symbol... it only accepts the ` symbol.
    • I have "about us", "Careers", and "Contact Us" nested under "home" to create the top menu, and then I’m starting wayfinder at ’1’ (because that’s the ID of home). Is there a way to also put "home" in that navigation?
    • if I want put only "Case Studies", "Portfolio,", "Upload Files / Send Documents" and "Request a Call" in the horizontal navigation, do I have to make them children of something? If this is the case, can I exclude the parent from the breadcrumbs?
    • [li] I’m trying to use ultimate parent for accordion menus on the left navigation:
     [[Wayfinder? &startId=`[[UltimateParent]]`]]
but it does not seem to be working. Any idea why?[/li]

You need to alternate the caching i.e.
      [!Wayfinder? &startId=`[[UltimateParent]]`!]

      or
      [[Wayfinder? &startId=`[!UltimateParent!]`]]
