For some reason the png files that I am saving from photoshop are showing in ie6 but it shows the box around it like it couldn’t find the picture with the white box and a red x and the image title. It is kind of annoying. And this is only happening in ie6.
Anyone have any idea why?
Thanks

IE6 has no support for PNG transparency. There are workarounds do a search for "ie6 png fix".

There are other issues with PNGs as backgrounds as well as 32bit pngs.
But, after rereading your OP I think you have a path issue. IE6 might not be finding the images where they are supposed to be.
I’m at a loss though as to why.
Hope you can track it.

That is the weird part though. The picture shows up so I would think that the path is right, but it also shows the picture outlined with the little white box and red x like it can’t find it. I can change the image format and it works fine I was just wondering why it would do that?
Thanks

What is likely happening is that you’re running a png-fixer JS for IE6 and it can’t find the x.gif or the 1px transparent gif that’s required for it to work.
