Switch Template options to users

Hi,
I’m still pretty new here and I hope you guys don’t flame me;-)
Anyway... the fact is I want to design a template/theme with a sort of settings-toolbar
where the user can change font size, subscribe the RSS feed, fold out/in all boxes and switch theme/template.
The problem is the last thing, don’t know how to make this function with modx. The user doesn’t have to be member.
Someone who can help? tips, tutorials, links, scripts

There are a few template switching snippets that work well. I cant remember the names right now, sorry.

There is the TemplateSwitcher plugin, but documents that use it cannot be cached.
