We have been asked to create a new website from scratch for a local non-profit organization that raises money and gives out scholarships to kids graduating from our public high school. We are looking for any examples of non-profit/charity websites created with MODx. Thanks in advance for any direction you can provide!

Are there any specific functions you need, or is this a brochureware-type site?

RTHRUSH: thanks for the inquiry! We don’t need any special functionality -- mostly like you describe, primarily broshure like text. I picture a banner along the top, and panel on the left side with menu picks, and a main content panel. web pages might include our mission statement, our officers and board of directors, recipients of scholarship in most current year and prior year, donors from current year, a list of memorial scholarships with pictures, maybe a useful links page to our regional and national parent organization and financial aid websites, maybe a FAQ page. The only possible special function would be how to make a donation. thanks! rick

There’s a large selection of sites to view in the "You and your sites" forum. Many of these are for non-profits.
