help needed : problem with template vars

hi all !
I’m experiencing a weird problem :
template vars seems not to update properly if I don’t set a value at document creation time
some details : the document is a link and a folder. it has a template (which is empty) just to add the possibility of having an image template var. and as I said earlier if I don’t set a value for that variable when I create the link then the variable will refuse to hold any value !
can someone help ?

I’ve experienced this on a couple of sites.
Try using QuickEdit to update the TV and see if the value will stick.

paulo, we’d really appreciate if you could tell us more about your environment and hopefully give us access to your server. This is a repeated problem that we so want to figure out and reproduce, but we’ve been unable to do so to date. Thanks!

ryan, I would be proud to help figure out what’s up. I’m currently developping the site on my local machine. Maybe I could set a special VirtualHost for you with a duplicate of the site, but I’m not sure if this is feasible.
