    Hi,

    i am using modx 0.9.6.
This happened the second time now:

A template disappears from one login to the next.
I am the only admin in the manager of this installation and template editing is explicitly restricted to admins.
The logs show no deletion or what so ever.
The pages that had that template assigned, now have the template from which the missing template was copied assigned to them.

This is obviously a bug. Its just hard to reproduce, it happens randomly.

    Any help?

Yeah, i am sane and sober, just to let you all know smiley

    Greetz,

Sounds like the DB is corrupt or the DB server is overloaded.

        Hi,

that would make sense to me, too.
I deleted some overhead (implies a "optimize table ...", i think) on the templates table and it succeeded.
So if this table was corrupt, this action should have failed.

But the Site is hosted at a mass-hosting company, so there could have been problems with the database.
This time i didnt duplicate/edit the template but i created a new one and copied/pasted the template code into it.
I did some editing, logged out and in again twice, everything was fine.

This time i also made a db backup from within the manager.
(The site is still in construction)

        Lets wait and see....
        I’ll keep you informed.

        best regards,
        makro
