I have a website that has a list of events contained in a document. (document ID # 55)
The list of events is just rich text and it is short and simple.
I’ve used a temp var @DOCUMENT 55 to pull it in to the front page for a short "teaser" section.
Then I have another document (document ID #33) that has the same content but with a lot more detail. Such as, time, date, who’s playing, why you should come, and so on.
BUT the problem with this is that the user has to enter information twice in two different docs. Once in the nice full view page (33) and once in the shortened teaser page (55).
Is there any way to make this a one-entry quicker system for the end user?

I’d probably be more inclined to create a document for each of your events with applicable TVs for each attribute - date, teaser, content text etc..
Use Ditto to pull in the information and format events in whichever way you wish on the other pages.
