    I am new to Modx. I followed the instructions. I created a TV [*content*]. The caption reads [*content*]

    I called that in the template as such:
    <div id="content">
    [*content*]
    </div> <!-- end content TV -->

    Then, in the the Manager I added content to each page. When I test the site, each page shows the content I put in the home page, not the content in that page.

    Can you tell me what I might be missing here?

    Thanks!

      You don’t need to create a TV named [*content*] within the MODx Manager, only call it in the template.
      Perhaps try deleting/renaming your TV and see if that helps.

        Best bet is to check out the documentation, especially the template basics section will give you a better grasp on the premade available variables.

          I did study the documentation and was not aware that "content" was a provided TV. I deleted the "content" TV I made and still had the same problem. But it shows correctly when I turn off Friendly URLs.

          I’ll study Friendly URLs more but if someone has a suggestion for that or a link to an answer, I’d sure appreciate it.

          Thanks for your help!
