    Hello all,

I am a MODx newbie, but I have used other CMS packages (mostly Wordpress and CMS Made Simple).

After fiddling with MODx for a bit I could not find any way to edit the CSS from the web admin.
Is the only way to edit CSS from the ’Manage Files’ page? Templates have their own edit page, why not CSS?

Copy and paste the external CSS file into a new document in the Manager.
Make sure the type is set to text/css, published, don’t show in menu, template=blank etc.
Give your new css document an alias of "something.css"
Then link to it in the normal way in the header of your template/s
You can now edit inside the manager.

I pointed to it because it’s step by step and also it points out several issue with IE, tweaking the .htaccess and all is necessary.
Beware that for production, it’s better to switch CSS to the filesystem...
