Template modxhost.. formating tables?

Hi!

I’m using modxhost template.
I need to format cells in a table that I have created.
Please look at the attachment to understand what I mean.

The tables and cells look alot different in firefox and IE.
In IE it looks ok, but in Firefox its to much space in the cells, especially in the bottom of each cell.

Can someone please help me figure this out?

I have tried to format it in the html code with setting the padding to 0px. But no difference..
Should I do add something to the css to format tables and cells correctly?

Tables can be a mess cross-browsers. I would definetly style them with some css to try to keep it under control. However the table itself may not the culprit here. Make sure that there is no stray html in the table cell to cause this issue.

HEre are some cool tutorials for styling tables that I have bookmarked:

Thanks for the links. I will keep looking for a solution.
