what am I doing wrong with delimted list ?

type: checkbox
input options: feature1||feature2||feature3
Widget: Delimted List
Delimiter: <li>

Problem is that first item is never enclosed in <li> tag. only second and later item gets the opening and closing tags.

anyone have an idea what am I doing wrong or is this not suppose to work out of the box as I hope ?

You are telling it to output a delimited list using <li> as the delimiter. So all it’s doing is replacing every || it finds with <li>. Try HTML Generic Tag specifying li instead.

I tried what you suggested and it didn’t work. this is the result.


The delimited list actually enclosed each Feature inside <li> so I thought that’s the way to go. I only want to output the checkboxes as list, IIRC in some tag cloud snippet I saw it workinging just with pipe as delimiter and not a list.

don’t use the < and > when specifying the tag to use; just the name of the tag: li
