    Hi,

I’m trying to use Andreas02 on my site. I’m new to modx, so apologies if I’m making a stupid mistake.

I’ve got the template running on the site, but I can’t figure out how to make links in a menu to new pages. If you look at this example of the template:
Well. How will they generate traffic to this freshly edited website?

I’m trying to add new pages that will show up as links where it says "welcome" "bio" "discography" "etc".

I’d tried making a new page, as a child of the original welcome page. The page is published, and the "show in menu" box is ticked.

What else could be stopping a link to the page being displayed.

    Thanks

In the first place, that’s an old template, and DropMenu has been deprecated in favor of Wayfinder.

Which menu are you talking about? There are three menus on that template, the top menu, the main tabs menu, and a sidebar menu.

Ok, I see which one you mean. That DropMenu call specifically allows only the top-level items to be in the menu. Since you are creating your new page under the Home document, then it won’t show. If you want new pages in that menu, they have to be in the "root" of the document tree, on the same level as the other in that menu.
