OK Im fairly new to MODx but i know how to tear things apart and break them.
My current site is

As you can see its a pretty simple layout. However.. if you look at the layout help image i attached you can see what im trying to achieve vs. if you visit the site what i have actually been able to achieve. Currently where i want the Child or 2nd level documents links is where my nav bar is. What i want to do is move the nav bar up to the top as seen w/ a drop down for the 2nd level documents. I saw some wayfinder examples but dont quite understand how to implement them.
The other thing i would like to be able to do is if the page your visiting falls within a container with other child documetns to have them kept on that collumn if the document you visit doesnt have any child documents then that container goes bye bye.
I am also attaching my HTML for the page hoping that someone can help a fella out. I am learning just slowly and always looking for pointers and how to’s.
