where can i edit the Manager pages???

Hi,

I want to disable some of the option within the Manager and also alter some of the layout etc...i can’t find where to do this?

Can anyone give a few pointers?

I would advise against editing the code behind the manager (located... guess where ? in the [tt]/manager/ folder[/tt]...), especially if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing. You’d have to know php and MODx to do that anyway.

But you can customize the layout, check out the manager template folder ([tt]manager/media/style[/tt], you have one folder by theme) and look how it’s built, then build you own theme. As for customizing additionnal options (like choosing which fields you want displayed) I’d advise to give a look at the ManagerManager plugin and the HideEditor plugin.
