can any body help me i am very much confused

hello every body please don’t mind my english as it is not my mother tounge ok now i love cms infact i love MODX the problem is this that i want my own website to be handled through MODX what do i have to do i have read the help designing section where it says that before doing some thing i would have to build a new templete (i need discription of it also) and when i insert the templete code written in the help it also seems to have a CSS style sheet where would i write the css file and where does all my files save if my testing server is my own computer.

Install the sample content and try working from the examples. If you don’t know how to create HTML (with or without CSS) to save as a template, you may be in the wrong place.
