style the dynamic sitemap

I am trying to style the dynamic site map, the output starts like this

<ul class="LSM_0"><li><span class="LSM_currentPage">Home</span></li><li><a href="index.php?id=11" title="RSS Feed">RSS Feed</a>

So to get an inline list in the stylesheet I now have this

.LSM_0 ul li
{
display: inline;
list-style-type: none;
}

however this makes no difference to the styling at all, can anyone please help.

ok I have changed the output code in the dynamic site map so now I just get a list of links, my output code now is
```
<div class="sitemap">
 | Install Success | <a href="index.php?id=2" title="page 2">page 2</a> | <a href="index.php?id=3" title="form">form</a>
</div>
```
All I would like to do now is style these links inside this div, I have now given it a class called sitemap and have added this to the stylesheet

a:link a:active .sitemap{
color:#ff6600;
font-size:10px;
}

Good news is I now know the div is being seen as a get a red border when I add this

.sitemap{
border:3px solid #FF0000;
}
I just cant see where I am going wrong with this so any help would be great
