It’s likely a CSS issue, and nothing to do with MODx. Make sure your sites look right in Firefox first then work on IE. http://positioniseverything.net is a great place to start tracking down CSS problmes. Good luck!

          Pooya,

This might take some hunting. I looked at your CSS and your code and it is a little tricky to read but the first thing I would test is whether it works when you uninstall the popup that launches when your site is first loaded. This only seems to appear on the main page and therefore could be causing probs.

Another path to follow might be checking your z-indexs I know for a fact that there are some odd issues relating to the z-index of a child of two or more parents when the z-index is not declared higher than the following container. I think that your #ajaxmenu z-index is 65 and the #content is 300 and the #myajaxmenu z-index is 1000. Try making the ajaxmenu z-index higher than 300.

          All the best,

          Jay

                pooya,

This menu is pretty advanced for a noob to control because of all the layering. I would first try to remove all other javascript from the template to see if it is being affected by those. There are stats trackers and some type of popup javascript etc, all which can cause issues with your menu. You should always test at each step and then add elements as the previous tests fine otherwise it can become hard to track down issues.

                For the Z-Index suggestion:

You will find your z-index values in question within the template’s CSS file located at http://www.subnet.ir/assets/templates/modxhost/modxmenu.css

The z-index handles layering of elements from background to foreground higher values are in the front and lower are in the back. The order in which these are placed controls the way in which the elements appear over one another. The issue for you is that IE doesn’t handle z-indexing the same as other browsers and nested elements (elements that are children of another element) have to have a parent element higher than the element that comes after it.

Just try what I suggested before in the css file by making the #ajaxmenu z-index value higher than 300.

                Hope this helps.
