is there any way to add tags in the <head> </head> section on each individual document?

for example: on my home page I want to have a SMF SSI but on all the other pages I don’t want to access the SSI. and the same thing on location pages I want to load the Google Maps API but nothing else. then On various pages I want to add coppermine SSI.

I just think it is unnecessary to load the SSI on every single page.

There has to be a way to do it. I’m thinking TV’s with @bindings is the answer but I’m not completely sure how to implement. Any ideas on how to do this?

    thanks

      another quick thought?

do I create a couple identical Templates and use the specific template for each of the different pages?
      IE:
template_1 ; --use for all pages
template_1_SMF; -- use for the SMF SSI
template_1_copper; -- use for all pages with coppermine content.
      etc

is there a better easer way?

        you could use PHx

        like this:

        [*id:is=`3`:then=`{{chunkwithheadinfo}}*]
        [*id:is=`4`:or=`5`:or=`6`:then`{{otherheadchunk}}`*]

there are more options take a look at the phx wiki

another option would be to make a templateVAriable with a textfield and just place the additional head info in there for each page and place the placeholder e.g. [*headtv*] in the head where you want the info to be placed.

            @Dimmy

Thanks I’ll try your way when I get home tonight. it looks like PHx does have a lot of future potential for me.

            thanks a ton!
