I am new to modX and all been using Joomla for sometime now and wanted more control without hacking the core so damn much..(rant)
I was wondering if someone could explain the Category part of the new templates / chunks / snippets ext... and if anyone has an opinion on there naming convention for stuff like that (now would be a great time to share it) I always had trouble thinking of a name for my templates in Joomla as well since I had a tendency to only need 1 template for the entire site once in awhile I would have 2 but no more home and inside but when it was just one I really couldn’t think of a good name other then base template or sitename template. Any thoughts would be great.

I like to categorize chunks in to their function. For instance, chunks that are used by eForm (or my own form parser, coming soon), are put in to a category called ’eForm’
You can really make whatever you want, categories are just for your own personal organization.
