    Hey, I’m porting a theme I just created to MODx, but I cannot find the theme directory. I tried looking in assets, templates, but it’s not there. I’ve already created a template through the resources in the control panel. I’m looking for the directory so I can put my css file in there.

        I looked over that page, and it just details the basics about a layout (what a CSS file does, etc.), but it does not say how to connect your new template to a CSS file. This is all I can find about using a CSS:
        Here is a simple CSS file to control our template’s appearance:
        CSS here
        This template and CSS file will make a page that looks like this:

        I’m looking at the default template’s call to its CSS file, and this is what it says:
        <link rel="stylesheet" href="[(base_url)]assets/templates/default/site.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
        Am I supposed to create a assets/templates/mytheme folder?

          If that’s where you want it to be, then yes. It’s completely up to you. MODx does not impose any limitations here, but the examples are generally an indication of a best practice unless otherwise specified.
