    Resolved. gedit doesn’t like something about that file. Was able to load it into kate and see the correct contents of the file.

    Have downloaded sottwell’s Animetor template twice and attempted to install it.

    Once under 0.9.2.2 and again under 0.9.5 RC3, fresh installs. Both times after following and rechecking the directions, I couldn’t get anything but the ’Successful Install’ content. No CSS or images. After putzing around, I noticed that when I brought Animetor.template.html up in gedit (under Ubuntu) that this was all that appeared:

    [*longtitle*]
    [*content*]
    [*animeLeft*]
    [*animeRight*]
    {{animeFooter}}

    and the name of the file in the gedit tab was [(site_name)] | [*pagetitle*] instead of Animetor.template.html. Is the file corrupted or is this a bug in gedit? Anyone else able to test?

      Looks like the gedit was displaying the file as an HTML file, which is exactly what it is. That is what you would see if you opened the file as an html file in a browser.
