Basically I need to have a setup where, if a valid web user is logged in (on the front-end), the pages will display a member-specific sub-navigation item (on all pages), as well as swapping a login button with a logout button. I can’t use separate templates to accomplish this because if they are logged in and they browse to a non-protected page, it would act as though they were logged out.

I was thinking that if you could restrict a particular chunk to a web user group, then that would solve the issue but I can find no way to do this. Any suggestions?

See the "Web Permissions" in Manager for document access permissions, and [[Personalize]] for chunks based on login/logout states.

      regards,

Personalize is a snippet? I’ll look it up.

        Thanks Zi
