    Hey guy, I’ve been struggling with the css lately trying to make a horizontal menu out of wayfinder. I followed some instructions on using ultimate_drop.css, here is what I did:
    1] downloaded the css and called it in the head, the script is there.
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="assets/templates/oztemplate/drop-m.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />

    2] Created a chunk called "wfParentRow" and inserted the following code:
    <li><a [+wf.classes+] href="[+wf.link+]" title="[+wf.title+]">[+wf.linktext+]<!--[if IE 7]><!--></a><!--<![endif]-->
    <table><tr><td>

    [+wf.wrapper+]

    </td></tr></table>
    <!--[if lte IE 6]></a><![endif]-->

    </li>

    3] Called Wayfinder
    [!Wayfinder? &startId=`17&level=`4` &parentRowTpl=`wfParentRow`!]

    The menu is still not functional, the only directory that I see are the top ones and the files, sub directories are not listed however they are printed in the html source. This is what I get.
    <div class="menu"><ul><li><a  href="/2006-photos.html" title="2006 Photos">2006 Photos<!--[if IE 7]><!--></a><!--<![endif]-->
    <table><tr><td>

    <ul><li><a href="/2006-test.html" title="2006 test" >2006 test</a></li>
    </ul>

    </td></tr></table>
    <!--[if lte IE 6]></a><![endif]-->

    </li>
    <li><a  class="last" href="/2007-photos.html" title="2007 Photos">2007 Photos<!--[if IE 7]><!--></a><!--<![endif]-->
    <table><tr><td>

    <ul><li><a href="/contact-us.html" title="Contact Us" >Contact Us</a></li>
    </ul>

    </td></tr></table>
    <!--[if lte IE 6]></a><![endif]-->
    </li>
    </ul></div>

    Now the css that I am using is the final_drop.css which can be found here.
    Could some one please help me resolve the problem, this is a very important issue, and I cant seem to deal with it. SOS!

    Regards,

    Irakli

      [!Wayfinder? &startId=`17&level=`4` &parentRowTpl=`wfParentRow`!]

      You missed a `

      Try with:
      [!Wayfinder? &startId=`17` &level=`4` &parentRowTpl=`wfParentRow`!]

      :-)

          Same question as in your other post, same problem in FF and IE? Be sure to specify correct doctype.

          Laso, try to use a blank template (with correct doctype) and aply NO css exept the css for your menu. That way you can be sure nothing in your template css makes the menu not working.

              I forgot about the previous thread, could you please delete it and just keep this one?
              <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
              I have to use this doctype otherwise my template is all messed up. I am using the final_drop.css (one menu css included in the head).
              Is do you think the css doesn’t work bacuse of the doctype? I will try and change the doctype and Ill get back to you.
              Guys... you are rights, its all because of the doctype... Now Ill be facing another very difficult task:(

              Update
              Id like to thank everyone who helped me out with this, I have now cleaned up my html, corrected my doctypes and now my website is w3c validated! I will now avoid problems in future. Thanks 2 everyone!
