    Hi,

One client is interested in having a local library management system.

He receives weekly new electronic papers and has a lot of printed papers.
He is interested in an easy-to-use system to store the titles and authors of publications. The engine must have some search capabilities.

Of course, all this can be done with MODx, using AjaxSearch for searching, and Wayfinder/Ditto for navigation and listing.

Has someone here already implemented such publications management system with MODx?
I don’t want to reinvent the wheel if something exists.

I’m also interested in some tool allowing search through PDF files linked from MODx or placed in some folder. I don’t think that AjaxSearch offers that, although I must admit I didn’t test.

    Thanks for your advices.

Maybe I should look for some non-MODx document archiving software.
There are severals on Sourceforge.net, but I don’t know which one choose.
