Template Variables on multipule pages

Hi everyone

I am new to xmod so bear with me

I have managed to build a site using Xmod but I am a bit confused as to how the system works. I have set up TVs for a section of my site and would like to display that section on multiple pages which is fine. but when it comes to editing the system creates a duplicate variable for each page with its own value. that means that If I want to edit a TV that I need to dislpay on multiple pages then I have to edit the TV on every page. Also I would like to be able to edit a TV according to with page it belongs to

eg :

If TV1 is for page one but is displayed on pages 2,3 nad 4 then I only want it to be editable from page one and not on the rest of the pages. This is because I have set up quiet a few TVs and Things are starting to get a busy on the edit pages.

Easiest way to accomplish what you’re describing I think is to use the TV as a container, but put a chunk in it. The chunk is what you’d edit. Later you can put another chunk on different pages and have multiple single-edit content "blocks" in the same "zone".
