Previewing css and template? (forgive the noob...)

I’ve had no problem setting up a css and a new template, but I’m having trouble figuring out how I would preview whether or not it’s *worked* and looks the way I want it to. It previews just fine in GoLive but I know better to trust that and I’m not working with my machine as a test server, but simply have my site offline while I work on it. I don’t want to have to go live to look at the preview!

You an have everything unpublished while you’re developing and when logged in the manager, you’ll be able to view unpublished documents from the "front end".

Also, if you set the site to be offline from the Manager’s system settings, a logged-in manager user will see the site while visitors will see your "unavailable" message or page.
