What is the correct way to specify an image’s path in a template? Is there a shortcut that points to the template’s images path? I can’t find any information about this in the documentation.
Just write the path where you have the images for that template.
Templates are usually stored in assets/templates/<templatename>/ directory. If you want, you could do chunks that define the paths and use them in your template. For example, create a imagePath chunk that contains [(base_url)]assets/templates/yourtemplate/images/ and then use {{imagePath}} in your template to fetch that path.. But I just write the full paths in the template html code myself..
